Zakuri is based in the Tosa region and the Tosagata Bocho is a unique Tosa based knife. It is very much like a thin and nimble santoku. At 165mm this knife is a great size for home cooks or for professional cooks as a utility or line knife. The Blue Super in the knife will take very good edge and has amazing edge holding capabilities. As with most carbon knives, this one sharpens very easily too. The kurouchi finish on this knife helps prevent rust, but this knife should still be cleaned and dried before after use.
